Sundays

Sundays are the best days of the week. Primarily because it’s the only day that I’m free from work. The first few weeks I would just relax at home, watch some TV, and finish stuff that had to be finished. For example, it was on a Sunday that I finally decided to take pictures of [...]

Aweful aweful.

What do I do when I meet the local Punjabis? I would like my answer to be: dancie like hell. Shaking that dance floor! Shaking that booty of mine – you know what I’m saying?

What do we do we actually do when we meet? We sit [...]

What do you do sir?

We have concluded that I’m not a doctor, despite the fact that I’m a tall handsome man who wears white gown and works in the hospital. So what is it that I actually do?
Well the most obvious thing is – if a medical device breaks down – we (me and my “mentor”) check what’s wrong [...]

Strolling down Bole road was pretty sweet and happening. Too happening to cover it all in one post. So now I’m continuing with that…

More random pics. The security guard (in black coat) in the “friendship mall” asked me to take a picture of her and her friend – after which she requested me to [...]

Landing in a hot third world country can be overwhelming. The heat, the crowd, the noise all combine to make your experience horrible. Take India for example. I’m overwhelmed by the heat, the terrible smell, the sweaty people, you name it. Addis Ababa, Ethiopia is nothing like that. Yes, I met some wierdos, and was [...]

Packing…again

Packing is always overwhelming. It was hard enough to pack when bringing all of my stuff back from Singapore. Had so much stuff I had collected over the months (the birthday cards, the weird exit sign my last roommate picked up from somewhere, among other things).
It’s time again. Now I’m packing for a year in [...]
